PURPOSE

This learnership program is designed to provide unemployed graduates with hands-on experience and practical training in retail merchandising.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the planning and execution of merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and visibility.
Ensure that merchandise displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management processes, including stock replenishment and rotation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate merchandising activities and promotional campaigns.
Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product inquiries and purchases not limited to.

Must be an unemployed graduate with a recognised retail, logistics, business admin qualification or related qualification.
Passion for the retail industry and a desire to pursue a career in merchandising.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
Attention to detail and a creative eye for visual merchandising.
Must be willing to commit to the duration of the learnership program.
