PURPOSE

This learnership program is designed to provide unemployed graduates with hands-on experience and practical training in retail merchandising.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the planning and execution of merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and visibility.
  • Ensure that merchandise displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management processes, including stock replenishment and rotation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate merchandising activities and promotional campaigns.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product inquiries and purchases not limited to.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • Must be an unemployed graduate with a recognised retail, logistics, business admin qualification or related qualification.
  • Passion for the retail industry and a desire to pursue a career in merchandising.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Attention to detail and a creative eye for visual merchandising.
  • Must be willing to commit to the duration of the learnership program.
