PURPOSE
This learnership program is designed to provide unemployed graduates with hands-on experience and practical training in retail merchandising.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the planning and execution of merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and visibility.
- Ensure that merchandise displays are visually appealing and aligned with brand standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management processes, including stock replenishment and rotation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate merchandising activities and promotional campaigns.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with product inquiries and purchases not limited to.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Must be an unemployed graduate with a recognised retail, logistics, business admin qualification or related qualification.
- Passion for the retail industry and a desire to pursue a career in merchandising.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.
- Attention to detail and a creative eye for visual merchandising.
- Must be willing to commit to the duration of the learnership program.
