HUMAN RESOURCES PRACTITIONER (3): NELSON MANDELA BAY MUNICIPALITY

SALARY: (R415 140 – R577 200 per annum)

DISCRIPTION

Providing the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Municipality with adequate levels of qualified staff members whose performance are managed on an ongoing basis to ensure that they are productive in terms of the Municipality’s long-term strategic objectives. As part of the selection process, candidates may be tested on any requirement, skill or competency, which will include pre-employment screening, medical examination, security vetting and psychometric assessment. Fringe benefits will include membership of a Retirement Fund, Medical Aid Scheme, Group Life Assurance Scheme, participation in a Housing Subsidy and Car Schemes (subject to the conditions of the various Schemes), and normal leave and sick leave benefits.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in the Human Resources field.
  • Up to five years’ relevant experience.
  • Must have own vehicle and a valid Code B driver’s licence. A locomotion allowance will be paid in terms of the relevant policy.
  • Must be computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel.

ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Monitoring the application of relevant HR policies and procedures.
  • Compiling reports emanating from the appointment process.
  • Advising management and unions on application of the relevant HR policies and procedures.
