PURPOSE
The objective of the GPL Internship Programme is to assist graduates and people with
qualifications to obtain workplace experience and for the GPL to contribute to the up skilling of
individuals as per the Skills Development Act.

- Intern: Sport and Recreation – Reference No 04062024
QUALIFICATIONS
Matric and National Diploma or B-Degree in:
- Media Studies, Communication Science, Graphic Design and Public Relations
- Commerce, Public Finance and Administration, or Gender, Disability or Youth Studies related disciplines
- Law, Political Sciences, Finance, or Public Administration
- Sports, Sports Management, Sports Coaching, Recreation and Exercise Science

COMPULSORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Applicants must be South African citizens.
- Applicant must be between the age of 18-35.
- To align with employment equity targets and ensure that diversity is
maintained at the GPL, preference will be given to People living with disability,
Coloured, White, and Indian applicants. - Must have no previous criminal convictions or pending cases.
- Applicants must never have been employed in the field of the advertised post before
and never participated in an Internship Programme. - It remains the applicant’s responsibility to have foreign qualifications evaluated by
South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA). - Applicants are restricted to apply for only three positions that are most suitable to
