JOB DESCRIPTION

The incumbent will be responsible for handling telephonic inquiries, about registration from internal staff members, current students, prospective students as well as the general public.

MIN REQUIREMENTS

  • Current Final Year/Current Postgraduate UKZN students
  • Good academic standing
  • Knowledge of University processes and structures
  • Telephone etiquette
  • Problem Solving & Analyzing Information
  • Preferably some experience in call centre work and working knowledge of MS Office package including MS Teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Main responsibilities will include assisting callers with information on entrance requirements, programs available, and status checks as well as assisting with online acceptance of offers.
  • Referring clients and queries to College Offices or Student Fees, etc if requests fall outside the boundaries of this Office.
