JOB PURPOSE
Applications Open for the City of Joburg Finance and Transport Internship Programme 2024 / 2025. The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) is offering student internship opportunities under Circular 021/2024 for eligible students residing in Johannesburg. These internships are available in the Transport Department and are part of the City’s efforts to provide work-based training to help students gain the necessary practical experience for their qualifications. These internships are available for a period not exceeding 18 months, with two specific internship designations: Revenue and Transport Transformation.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4) with a Diploma in Accounting/Finance or an equivalent qualification (NQF level 6).
- Grade 12 (NQF level 4) with a Diploma in Administration Management or Transport Management (NQF level 6) or studying towards a Diploma in Transport Engineering.
- Only residents of the City of Johannesburg.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of customer service and problem-solving.
