DUTIES
- Capture data directly from the collection tools into webDHIS.
- Capture daily on Tier.net. Monitoring of HPRS implementation.
- Report any discrepancies found to the Operational Manager.
- Collect data collection tools (e.g. OPD tick registers, headcount registers, theatre and delivery registers) from service points/wards.
- Perform data quality checks to ensure completeness, correctness, consistency and currency.
- Run routine data quality checks in webDHIS that are appropriate for daily capturing.
- Collect the signed midnight census report from the night supervisor and perform checks for completeness, correctness, consistency and currency by checking the form and comparing with the midnight census data collection tools as well as other data collection tools in the ward.
- Provide in house monitoring on completion registers.
- Capture Patient Experience of Care data.
- Conduct onsite data quality audits.
- Provide personnel administration clerical support services.
- Perform reception and patient registration duties.
- Collation of data daily.
- Ensure that data is secured.
- Prepare the facility data reports.
- Support the submission of information and data as required by the facility.
- Support ideal Hospital processes at the facility.
- Support the implementation of one patient, one file strategy at the hospital.
- Participate in the implementation of clinical records management policy and hospital level standard operating procedures.
- 100% of their work time must be spent on data-related responsibilities as required by the facility.
